PExOD is a comprehensive bibliographic data management system capable of exchanging bibliographic data up and down the supply chain as well as providing a wealth of content management services within an organization. PExOD keeps bibliographic data and its management within the hands -- and reach -- of publishers.

PExOD is a full-featured website for book publishers. PExOD leverages the full collection of bibliographic data to present a site that effectively presents books to internet users and supports direct or affiliate sales.

PExOD was developed under the aegis of the Canadian Centre for Studies in Publishing (CCSP) at Simon Fraser University with funding from the Department of Canadian Heritage's BPIDP and Supply Chain Initiative programmes.
